Tea House
1657年イギリス・ロンドンのコーヒ・ハウス「GARRAWAYS（ギャラウェイ）」でお茶を提供し始めたのがTea Houseの始まりです。その場所はイギリス各地で展開され、商人と貴族の社交場になりました。Tea Houseは情報の交換場所であり、知的な会話がなされる場所でもあります。そこから王立科学院が生まれたそうです。（出典：角山栄『茶の世界史改版』1980.中公新書）
Tea House・dehistoriaはその歴史を受け継ぎ、様々な縁をお茶を通して繋げようと考えております。歴史から伝えられているお茶や物に触れ、歴史的な“モノ“とのご縁をつなぐ。そして当店へ来てくださる“人々“とのご縁も広がれば我々にとって何よりの光栄です。1657年から始まった伝統と現在の人々をdehistoriaでつなぎます。
The Houses began serving tea in 1657 at the coffee house “GARRAWAYS” in London, England. Their locations expanded cross England and became social gathering places for merchants and aristocrats. A Tea House is a place for information exchange and intellectual conversation. This is where the Royal Academy of Sciences was born.
Our Tea House “dehistoria” inherits that history and aims to help make connections between people who come to our Tea House, through our tea. By experiencing tea and utensils, our guests can reconnect with the historical feeling which was also experienced by past people. It would be our greatest honor to expand our relationships with the people who visit our store, connecting the tradition that began in 1657 with the people of today at “dehistoria”.
